Aluminum Body Repair Done Right
The Lucid Air uses a lot of aluminum, which behaves nothing like steel. It work hardens, it cracks instead of stretching, and it will corrode if steel dust lands on it. That is why the work has its own room.

High Voltage Battery Safety
A Lucid carries a large high voltage pack under the floor. Nobody touches the body until that power is shut down and proved dead. Our techs are trained to do that step in the order Lucid sets.
- The pack is de-energised and locked out before body work starts
- The car sits in a marked EV area while it is disabled
- Pack and cable damage is inspected and reported to you in writing
- Power is brought back up and the car is checked before it leaves
Sensor and Camera Calibration
Driver aids on a Lucid see through cameras and sensors mounted in the panels you just had fixed. A bumper off by a few millimetres points a sensor at the wrong patch of road. Calibration is part of the repair plan, done the way Lucid's procedures call for.

Do I need a Lucid certified shop?
For anything past a scuff, yes. A certified shop can pull Lucid's procedures and buy Lucid parts. Without that, the repair is a guess on a car with a battery under the floor.
Can any body shop work on a Lucid?
Any shop can take the car in. Very few can shut the high voltage system down safely, repair aluminum properly and see the calibration through after. Ask a shop to show you its Lucid certificate.
What happens to the battery during the repair?
We de-energise the pack and lock it out before any body work. The car stays in a marked area while it is disabled. We check the pack and its cables and put the findings in writing.
How long do Lucid parts take to arrive?
It depends on the panel. Common parts come quickly, and structural or glass parts can take longer. We order the day your insurer approves the estimate and give you a date.
Do you handle the insurance claim?
Yes. We work with every major carrier, write the estimate to Lucid procedures and deal with the adjuster. If we find more damage, we file the supplement ourselves.
I am in Phoenix, Tucson or Casa Grande. Is it worth the drive?
Owners think so, because the certified list is short. We are at 8120 E Raintree Dr in Scottsdale, off the Loop 101. If the car is not drivable, call us and we arrange the tow.
Will the repair affect my Lucid warranty?
Lucid sets your car's warranty terms, so ask Lucid. What we control is the repair: Lucid steps, Lucid parts, and a written record of both. Our own work carries a limited lifetime warranty for as long as you own the car.
