What Tesla approval means

Tesla checks the shops it approves. We hold that approval at our shop on E Raintree Dr.

  • We train on Tesla repair steps and keep that training current
  • We buy the tools and lifts Tesla asks an approved shop to own
  • We order body parts through Tesla, not through a parts broker
  • We repair the car to the steps Tesla publishes for that model
  • You get our limited lifetime warranty on the work we do

Teslas we repair

We take in every model Tesla sells today. Body damage, panels, and paint are our work.

  • Model 3 and Model Y, the two cars we see most
  • Model S and Model X, including aluminum panel work
  • Cybertruck, whose stainless panels are their own job
  • Older Teslas that are out of warranty but still worth fixing

Why a Tesla is not a normal body repair

A Tesla mixes metals and carries a big battery under the floor. Both change how we work.

  • The body mixes aluminum and steel, so each metal gets its own tools and space
  • We isolate the high voltage system and confirm it is safe before any work starts
  • The battery pack is part of the structure, so floor and sill damage gets checked with care
  • Panel gaps and glass have to line up again, or wind noise and leaks show up later
  • We use Tesla parts. If your insurer pushes back, we make the case for them

Cameras and sensors after a repair

Tesla builds Autopilot on cameras. Move one a few degrees and the car reads the road wrong.

  • Windshield work matters, because a camera sits behind the glass
  • Bumper and fender repairs can shift sensor mounts out of place
  • Camera calibration is completed as Tesla's procedures require
  • Driver aids are checked before you pick up the car

Insurance and timing

We work with Tesla Insurance and every major carrier. We are not in any carrier's network, and that is on purpose.

  • Arizona law lets you pick the shop. Your insurer cannot force one on you
  • We deal with the adjuster and the paperwork, supplements included
  • Parts drive the timeline. Some Tesla parts ship fast, some take weeks
  • We call you with a real date once the parts are booked
  • Send photos through our online estimate and skip the first trip

FAQs

Questions Tesla owners ask us before they book the repair.

Does Tesla require an approved body shop?
Tesla does not force you to use one. Approved shops get Tesla's repair steps, the tools, a parts account, and current training. You pick the shop, and we would rather you pick one with all of that.

Will my Tesla warranty stay intact?
Tesla owns the terms of your vehicle warranty, so ask them about your car. What we control is the repair: Tesla steps, Tesla parts, and records of both. That is the work an approved shop is set up to do.

Can you repair a Cybertruck?
Yes. The stainless panels do not behave like painted steel, so we follow Tesla's own steps for that truck instead of guessing. Bring it in and we will tell you what the repair takes before you commit.

Do you work with Tesla Insurance?
Yes, and with every other major carrier. We are not a preferred shop for any of them, so nobody is steering the repair. We handle the adjuster and the supplements either way.

Do you disconnect the high voltage battery?
We isolate the high voltage system to Tesla's procedure before body work begins. Our techs are trained for it. It protects them, and it protects the pack under your floor.

Will the cameras be recalibrated?
When the repair touches the glass, a camera or a sensor mount, calibration is part of the job. It follows Tesla's steps. The driver aids get checked before you pick up the car.

How long does a Tesla repair take?
A bumper can be days. A structural repair with slow parts can run weeks. Parts are the part nobody controls, so we give you a date once Tesla confirms the order, not before.

Are you near the Tesla Service Center on Raintree?
We are at 8120 E Raintree Dr in the Scottsdale Airpark, right off the Loop 101 Raintree exit. Most of our Tesla work comes from Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and north Phoenix. We are independent, and we are not part of any chain on this street.
